When atheist, Epiffany Taylor, experiences her first love, all is bliss, but when the love of her life confesses he’s a celestial being and she’s a demigod, she must choose between her militant ideologies or her heart.
Being a free thinker and living in the Bible belt is total torture for college freshman Epiffany. She is a philanthropist who cares about the world, a strong advocate for equality and a free spirit who loves to study all religions. She can’t stand narrow minded people after being dubbed the antichrist in high school for reading The Tibetan Book of the Dead. For some reason she feels the suffering of others, has nightmares of women dying during the inquisitions and when she gets mad the weather usually responds. Epiffany has always been a loaner until her first day of college when she meets Sebastian Frost who rocks her world. The two form an instant bond and it’s as if she’s known him all her life. Sebastian encourages her to have fun and quit worrying about the world. And through him she experiences things she never dreamed of doing like: Skydiving, fine dinners, and most of all falling in love.
But, there is something very mysterious about the new love of her life and when he’s cornered, after some unexplainable events and confesses a shocking secret, she is beside herself. Sebastian claims to be an angel and her former husband from a previous lifetime. He says she reincarnates because during the Biblical days when she was a child, she snuck behind her father, Moses, to see God in the burning bush, and she accidently breathed in the energy of God. And now that God is gone, she is all that is left of his creative energy, making her a demigod. Sebastian explains he roamed the earth searching for her after each death but there were times he never found her; like when she died in the inquisitions. Sebastian and his friends try to convince Epiffany to go into hiding as she is being hunted by the fallen but first she must determine if the guy she adores is a lunatic or really an angel.
THE SONS OF GOD is a series with a culturally diverse cast that follows the love story between Sebastian and Epiffany through her college years as she learns how to use her new energy to bring peace to the world and release the man she loves from his celestial bonds; with subplot themes of forgiveness, religious tolerance, and a motley crew becoming a family.
